The third edition of our Wichard Customer Visits in Thiers took place on 2–3 December 2025!
For two full days, the energy of the marine world met the precision of forging…
We had the pleasure of welcoming around thirty customers for an exclusive and dynamic event at the heart of our two production sites (W1 and W2), the very places where every Wichard part takes shape, thanks to the expertise of the people who bring it to life day after day.
On the agenda:
• An immersive forge-themed escape game with Escape Hunt
• Technical discussions covering Ronstan products and the upcoming 2026 Wichard Marine / Profurl releases
• Guided tours of our workshops
• And of course, convivial moments elevated by the local cuisine of Fabien Mathé, including a brunch in the legendary Vallée des Usines, also known as Le Creux de l'Enfer, not far from the original Wichard factory.
This edition was also highlighted by the visit of Antonin Chapot, a young sailor hailing from Clermont-Ferrand and one of our Mini 6.50 partner skippers, freshly arrived in 4th place in the Series category of the 2025 race La Mini Transat.
His presence delighted both our guests and our team.
Our visitors left enthusiastic, inspired, and more convinced than ever of the importance of preserving and promoting French craftsmanship, the very foundation of our industry’s strength, as reflected in the images of our aftermovie.
