Once again this year, Wichard proved that solidarity can go hand in hand with collective energy and a strong team spirit. Two months, two campaigns, two essential causes. The company committed first to Pink October, then to Movember, with a shared goal: supporting research and prevention efforts against cancers that affect millions of people.
Pink October: a wave of support for women’s health
Launched on October 1st, our Pink October initiative invited our Facebook and Instagram communities to take part in a fun giveaway. Ten pink Onboard bracelets were up for grabs. We also added a simple rule to boost engagement: 1 comment = €1 donated to the Ruban Rose Association.
The response far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our followers, Wichard donated €1,292 to help fund research and preventive actions against breast cancer.
We are proud of this result, a reminder that small gestures, when multiplied, can achieve great things.
Movember: moustaches, solidarity, and men’s health
In November, the tone shifted, along with the moustaches! To support Movember France, Wichard launched a new campaign on Facebook and Instagram, once again driven by our vibrant community.
Here too, the momentum was strong: €1,000 were donated to the organisation dedicated to prevention and research on men’s cancers, particularly prostate and testicular cancer.
To mark the occasion, our employees - sporting either genuine moustaches or proudly assumed fake ones - gathered in Thiers, at our factory, to show their support… and their moustache-enhanced smiles.
A long-term commitment
Through these two initiatives, Wichard reaffirms its dedication to public health issues and its desire to contribute - at its own scale - to meaningful, impactful actions.
Our community, ever loyal and responsive, plays a key role in this momentum: every comment, every share, every gesture makes a difference.
We warmly thank everyone who helped make these initiatives a success. Together, let’s continue to support the causes that bring us together.
Wichard. Wich’ more (let’s wish for more!).*
