A new Wichard product displayed at METSTRADE 2024
Soft padeyes are so named because of their intended use, primarily designed to install soft fastenings and soft blocks attachment. These innovative components will be displayed at the METSTRADE professional Boat show in Amsterdam, from November 19th to 21st, and therefore introduced to professionals.
The integration of hardware fittings on modern boats is a recurring demand. These through-deck padeyes are specifically crafted to blend seamlessly with the deck’s surface. Targeted for high-end yachts of 50 feet and above, they cater to sailing boats prioritizing aesthetics and performance.
The soft padeye can bear high loads with full 360° load orientation. Easy to install and remove, it integrates to the deck layout quickly and with no difficulty. Wichard provides accessories that simplify installation. The titanium cap will be used during periods of non-use or winter storage. The special key makes it easy to open for textile installation. Finally, made from titanium and stainless steel, it is both watertight and lightweight.
