Mini Transat 2025: a magnificent double victory for Wichard Partners

The second leg of La Boulangère Mini Transat wrapped up this Sunday, 9 November, in Guadeloupe, marking the end of an edition that proved particularly intense and hard-fought. Wichard extends its warmest congratulations to its two Partner Ministes in the production-boat category, Quentin Mocudet and Antonin Chapot, for their outstanding performances.

Arrivals with plenty of flair

After 15 days, 5 hours, 12 minutes and 52 seconds at sea, Quentin Mocudet crossed the finish line in 2nd place in this demanding leg (Series ranking). A few hours later, Antonin Chapot completed the crossing in 4th position in the same category, after 15 days, 6 hours, 56 minutes and 29 seconds of ocean racing.

These results are a testament to their talent and endurance. The gaps remained narrow throughout, with the leading pack often sailing within sight of one another, offering spectators a suspenseful contest right down to the final miles.

Shared values

At Wichard, we take great pride in supporting these passionate sailors who continuously push their limits. Their achievements perfectly embody the values that drive us: commitment, reliability and technical excellence.

Proline tethers for safety, friction rings to keep control lines running smoothly, multipurpose stick-on padeyes, an offshore rescue knife for emergencies, and even Ronstan blocks… Our young skippers’ boats were brimming with Wichard equipment: we couldn’t be prouder.

We also warmly thank our partners, as well as all skippers equipped with Wichard products, for their continued trust.

Looking ahead

After such a gruelling crossing, it’s time for some well-deserved rest under the Guadeloupean sun. As they told us back in Les Sables d’Olonne: after the effort comes the celebration!

True to our principles, we look forward to continuing our collaboration with Quentin and Antonin should they pursue new sailing projects.

Moreover, if his schedule allows, Antonin will join us for our customer visits in early December as guest of honour. No doubt our marine clients will be delighted to hear such energetic, first-hand insights.
