Wichard had already supported Julie Simon during a previous Mini 6.50 project. It was only natural for us to place our trust in her once again for a Figaro campaign, which she is currently leading alongside skipper Davy Beaudart.
Both have decided to join forces and combine their skills in the Figaro class, bringing with them extensive experience in offshore racing across multiple categories: Imoca, Ultim, Mini 6.50, and Class40 for Davy; Mini and Class40 for Julie.
This Sunday, they will set sail in the Transat Paprec, racing from Concarneau to Saint Barthélemy against 18 other highly motivated mixed crews.

To equip their boat, Davy and Julie have chosen friction rings (21008 & 21510), soft snatch blocks (36010), the renowned Offshore Rescue knife (10192), and the Proline tether with a releasable snap hook (7066).
Davy Beaudart highlights the benefits of this harness tether, which he was already familiar with and now finds even more advanced in its latest version:
"Thanks to the Proline tether, I feel safe when maneuvering on deck. Its elastic format and load-releasable snap hook make it an ideal piece of equipment."
We wish them fair winds for the Transat Paprec adventure and all those yet to come!
